Castle to Coast – Cycling for charity
The S Evans & Sons team will be cheering one of our longest standing clients on this September as they take on a gruelling cycling challenge for charity.
Amco Giffen’s Chris Pennock, director of the Eastern Region Framework, will cycle 200 miles (320km) during a two-day adventure, alongside 22 colleagues, friends and supply chain partners.
The ride is part of the organised Castles to Coast 2025 cycle event from Edinburgh to Newcastle and will take in some fantastic scenery and no doubt, arduous hills.
Dressed in S Evans & Sons sponsored jerseys, the cyclists will be clocking up the miles to raise funds for two important charities – cancer charity Maggie’s and mental health charity Lighthouse, which supports those working in the construction industry.
