EDF – Electrolysis Plant Demolition Completion

S Evans & Sons Ltd have completed the demolition and disposal of EDF’s redundant Electrolysis Plant located at Heysham 2 Power Station in July 2021.

The team mechanically demolished the redundant plant including the breaking out of the slabs and foundations from within the site boundary. Careful planning and caution were taken due to the rest of the Power Station remaining fully functional during our programme.

All works were completed without any accidents or incidents and to the client’s satisfaction.
