Warehouse Demolition and Site Clearance

The starting block of the new multi-million pound project – the Mersey Gateway Crossing, included the demolition package of various structures throughout Halton, Widnes and Runcorn.

S. Evans & Sons Ltd were awarded the local work by Kier. The project included licensed asbestos removal, demolition of steel/masonry structures, commercial buildings, offices and warehouses including the grubbing up and removal of all slabs and foundations. Various demolition techniques such as hot works, high reach demolition, careful dismantling, mechanical and hand demolition were used to create the pathway for the new bridge.
