Warehouse Demolition
Working as principal contractor on the remote Demolition of multiple warehouse buildings across an 11 acre site, including installation of site hording, licensed asbestos removal, basement and foundation demolition, and on-site crushing.
Carried within a busy industrial estate, adjacent to a dual carriageways and near to Liverpool Airport meant that all demolition activity would have to be planned carefully to en-sure there was no impact to the local environment.
All Licensed and none-licensed asbestos was removed safely with advise sort from the HSE. Each building was brought down by 25t, 35t, 40t, and 50 tonne excavators working in tandem. Once the buildings were brought to ground level they where then loaded into a moxy and transported across site to run through S Evans crusher, and crushed to certified 6f2 for recycling on both this site and other construction sites in the local area.
All scrap from within the buildings was recycled in S Evans & Sons Processing yard in Widnes.
Once all buildings had been demolished we then brought up all the basements, tunnels and foundations below ground level, again crushing all hardcore materials to type 6f2. The site was left in a safe and clean state ready for the new Home & Bargains flag ship store to be built.
